Applied Public Health Informatics Studio

I'm Nelofar Kureshi, a health informatics researcher working across academic, clinical, and public health settings. My work centers on public health informatics and digital health equity, with an emphasis on algorithmic fairness in population health data. I am an Adjunct Professor at Dalhousie University and a Clinical Performance Consultant within Nova Scotia Health. More about me at nelofarkureshi.com.

I build these tools to make the current state of health care access and equity easier to see and understand. Much of that picture already exists in public data, but it usually resides in formats that are difficult to interpret. Each tool in this studio turns health data into something you can easily explore, while drawing a clear line between what the data show and what they do not. Open data, open code.
